Weird eh?

I find that whenever I blog, what I write or rather how I write differs quite a bit from I how I'd normally write for a compo. I don't know, maybe I just don't have as much a flare(if any) for blogging compared to writing. Maybe I should just write out whatever I want to say and then copy it onto the blog.

It's been a while now.

I've been faring pretty well in my studies so far, with the exception of maybe chem and physics, but I believe everthing will be all right. School's now pretty boring, the same old stuff over and over again.

At least things are better more interesting in choir since we're actually learning serious songs instead of cheapo stuff. But, it's been pretty disappointing so far, with my section's progress being way too slow,everyone forgetting their technique etc. And I'm to blame for that. I'm supposed to teach them. Problem is, I haven't learnt the song well enough and I sorta lost the technique too. Well I guess I just have to put in more effort.

On the bright side, things seem to be improving in soccer. I can feel it coming back. The surge of adrenaline when I'm on the ball. Usually the ball would be controlling me, but that's not the case now. It feels like before again, when I was on form.

Good old days

Sigh... how great it would be if everything was like it was in the past. When we were together, as one. Not split up into 2 different factions like we are now. What's the problem? Why can't we just forgive and forget? If the comm is split up, then we'll go nowhere.Nowhere but down.

Hmm, exams are over.I don't know man, I should be feeling high and all, and I admit, I was really looking forward to the end of the myes. But now that it is actually over,I realised that it's not such a big deal after all. MYEs, what's there to be proud of? I don't have any great accomplishments to be happy about. I mean hey, I played more computer games during the exam period than on normal school days. I spent only a small fraction of time on studying. So, if I do do badly for the myes, then it's just my just desserts.

Hmm, what can I say?Gatherings are just not my thing. It was bad enough in sec 1, but from the looks of things, it's just getting much worse. Just talking to people seems to be a chore, it's gotten so unnatural. Who've I to blame for the antisocial behaviour but myself? sigh...

The MYEs are coming really soon. I just had the paper 1s today. Well, I haven't started studying and I don't really know what I should study. So I came up with this
incomplete study plan.


Frankly, it reminds me of the one I did last year. But I've got significantly more time this year.


Desperate times call for desperate measures. Study plans can be real life savers.

I know it's been more than a week since returning from Italy, but I've really been hard pressed for time to blog recently. Well, better late than never eh?Frankly, I can't believe that the trip's over. Just like that, and we're back. I must say though, I really enjoyed myself there. Put aside the unprepared-ness , lack of concentration and all the other stuff, I feel that the trip was a really meaningful lesson. It taught me loads of stuff. Focus, self discipline, courage to stand up. This competition will definitely rooted these values in me. We didn't do the best we could and ended up getting 3rd, so I feel that this is a very big regret. However, I'm quite pleased with the choir. I mean, we were only 46 people, and we realised how small that is compared to the other choirs. So one by one, we rose to sing out more and put in even more effort. And honestly, I feel that the tenors did a pretty good job with the volume, considering there were only 6 of us. Ah well, so all that's left to do is to work harder. Kk photo time.

Chinese New Year

Well, as always, this year I went back to Sarawak to celebrate the Chinese New Year. I must say, although this New Year was somewhat much less eventful compared to previous years, there were still many things I enjoyed. Mainly, it's the fireworks. I feel that it's awesome that people still play fireworks in Sarawak(Though it's illegal). This year, there was quite a wide variety of designs of the fireworks. There were those that came in boxes of 20 which fired pink and green fireworks. Then there were those that fired only one. But boy, I enjoy those the most. They shoot really high up into the sky and the fireworks are really big (About three times the size of the usual ones that come in 20s) when they explode. The sound produced by the explosion is really loud, and it feels like artillary guns are being fired. Literally, you can feel your sternum just go thump. Oh yea, and this year, there was a new firework design. It formed a heart shape when it exploded. While I do admit that it's girly and whatnot, it was really refreshing, really diferent from the usual fireworks.

Yea I know I've blabbered on so much about fireworks, so for the benefit of you people who don't get to see what I see, I've posted this video of the fireworks.

I admit, Sec 3 life has been pretty hectic and strenuous. I mean, the staying back late almost everyday is still fine with me, but having four tests a week? I think that's overkill. Yea, so a very important thing to do at this point of time is to manage my time well and relieve as much stress as possible. lol. Yea so, A new year, A new pair of pants, New responsibilties.
